Africa and its potential energticoJoao Bosco MonteDoutor in main EducaoPesquisador CNPqAs emergent economies (Brazil, Russia, India, Indonesia, China and South Africa) represent 24% of the world-wide GIP and 46% of the population of the planet. These countries had grown in recent years to an unimaginable rhythm for the remaining portion of the occidental economies. But our attention must also be turned toward another part of the planet: the African continent. The African countries form a market with enormous potential. China and India had taken conscience of this reality before any another country and had firmed partnerships in diverse types of action in order to promote solids and lasting economic and commercial relations. Thus, it is not rare to find, in some African cities, constructions made with resources of the Chinese government. During last the eight years, the investments in the sector of the construction had grown a 8,5% average.
In 2008, the growth was of 9.4%, a comparable percentage to agro-energy (Federacy of the Industries of So Paulo) they had expanded the borders of the cassava production, maize, sorgo and soy, among others cultivos, as potential power plant of Africa. The propitious space is ample: Benin, Burkina Faso, Green Handle, Ivory Coast, Gmbia, Hunger, Guin, Guin Bissau, Libria, Moambique, Nigria, Senegal, Mountain range Leoa and Togo, already had received the visit from Incio Luis Lula da Silva and, for declaration of the proper president, they are in the Brazilian agenda with sights for year 2022. On the other hand, Petrobra’s and the Embrapa in such a way continue stamping agreements with state agencies and private companies of the United States, as well as with British, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and South African institutions. The strategy is the triangulation business-oriented: some produce, others buy and to Brazil the management fits. This project, of applied intelligent profit to the sustainable development, can not only give to reply the urgent necessities as faced for the South Africa, that produces 92% of its energy with mineral coal, seno to the future energy order. This makes possible the substitution of traditional matrices e, therefore, it opens the game to a future scene where the common denominator could be the trinmio Brazil-Africa-agrocombustveis. In crisis times, the governments and the companies must be capable to use to advantage the chances that offer the markets. Brazil already learned the lesson.
